The Renaissance is an 8-episode limited series (think I May Destroy You meets Stranger by the Lake) that follows Joe - a gay painter, newly sober in the time of Covid - as he organically unspools himself in pursuit of an unreachable Adonis.

In 2018, during my fourth year composing new material for the Atlantic Acting School, I wrote the first iteration of this project under the title His Bedroom Is Eden (dir. David Mendizábal). Since moving to LA, my ambition has been to translate this story of love, longing and seeing yourself clearly to the streaming screen. 

With my tireless incredible producer Justin Brock Shantz, we are very close to making it happen. More soon.
